Recently, my wife and I enjoyed a date night at Ruth's Chris. We made reservations, arrived early, and were seated promptly after a brief wait.
Upon being seated, we were quickly served water and introduced to our server, who provided recommendations and the chef's specials as we perused the menu. He was very helpful in answering our questions and remained attentive throughout the evening.
Our meal included the following:
Appetizers - Sesame Ginger Seared Sea Scallops - $28
Sides - Mashed Potatoes & Cremini Mushrooms - $14/$15
Wife's Entree - Surf and Turf (Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail) - $110
My Entree - Cowboy Ribeye - $80
Everything we ordered was exquisite. The flavors were well-balanced, without an overpowering taste of salt, pepper, or garlic. The steaks were exceptionally tender, and the scallops were perfectly seared, enhanced by the accompanying jus. All dishes were served hot and surpassed our expectations. (Please note that entrees are served on 500-degree plates, so avoid touching the plates upon arrival.) The drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding throughout our meal, with staff ensuring our water was regularly refilled, confirming our satisfaction with the food, and offering further assistance as needed.
The staff exhibited professionalism and friendliness. The manager also visited our table to ensure our experience was satisfactory. I highly recommend Ruth's Chris for a genuine fine dining experience. Although it had been some time since my last visit, this dinner was just as memorable, if not more so. For a sophisticated date night, dress up and make a reservation at Ruth's Chris. You will not be disappointed.
